Selecting a Collision Repair Provider

At 821 Collision, we understand how stressful an accident can be.  It is our mission to expertly guide you through every step of the process and provide you with a hassle-free experience from start to finish.  Vehicle damage is a rare event for most people, and you have many choices for your collision repair needs.  Avoid making a hasty and perhaps costly decision by learning how to make the right selection.

Safety First

Your safety is our primary concern.  Period.  At 821 Collision, we have invested significant resources to make certain our customers receive exceptional service provided by expertly trained technicians using state-of-the-art tools, equipment, and OEM parts.  821 Collision is a Gold Class® shop as certified by I-CAR, a not-for-profit training organization founded by the collision repair industry and dedicated to consumer safety.  Our technicians are continually trained, ensuring your vehicle is being serviced using the latest processes and methodology.

  • Training – The complexity of automobiles and supporting systems increases rapidly. Current training is essential for proper and safe repairs.
  • Why Gold Class® – This designation is THE industry standard for collision repair. Other certifications require minimal, one-time training and a cursory initial inspection.  Gold Class indicates that our shop undergoes ongoing, up-to-date training and evaluations every year.
  • What Else – Training is only one component of expert safe repair delivery. A shop must also have the proper infrastructure and access to vehicle manufacturer information.

Certifications

Automakers offer certifications to collision repair shops, many times, on a limited basis only.  821 Collision is proud to announce it has been awarded ProFirst Certification by American Honda Motor Co., Inc.  ProFirst Certified is American Honda’s highly-sought-after body shop certification for the repair of Honda and Acura automobiles.

American Honda certifies that this collision repair facility has completed prescribed collision industry training and/or has exhibited excellence in the collision repair process and procedure through verification, has completed specific Honda and Acura training, employs required tools and equipment, is committed to a high level of customer satisfaction, and has demonstrated excellence in facility management.

With over 30 years of experience in the collision repair industry, 821 Collision has earned and achieved many original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Certifications in addition to ProFirst including Ford/Lincoln, FCA, Nissan, Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia, and Subaru.

Seek Expert Advice

Every repair is unique.  You may receive encouragement from your insurer to choose specific repair providers based on established financial arrangements that benefit the insurer.  This may or may not be in your best interest and it is up to you to choose the provider you evaluate to be the best fit for your needs.  You can rely on the experts at 821 Collision to consult with you in the assessment of your situation and provide you with all the information you need to make the best decision for you.
